What to see in Marrakech & Morocco travel advice
Here is the list of places and Morocco travel advice to visit Marrakech medina and its surroundings with a plan to help you locate all these places.

Jemaa El Fna square
Place Jemaa El Fna is the place to go quickly to Marrakech, located in the heart of the medina! You read everything! It has two atmospheres, the day, food stands disappear, snake charmers and monkeys!
This is the botanical garden of Marrakech. It is a very cool place, clean and calm. Very impressive this setting in the middle of Marrakech where the atmosphere is arid!
The souks of Marrakech
You will find everything and it is an excellent school to learn to haggle. The seller will be disappointed if you do not bargain. Leather, pottery, weaving, jewelry, spices, copper and even Moroccan cake merchants, everything is there.

El Bahia Palace
The palace of Bahia (literally the “palace of the beautiful”) is an architectural complex built around 1880 and former home of the grand vizier Ahmed ben Moussa. The palace is spread over 10 hectares. It has 150 decorated rooms that are organized around flowered patios.

El Badi Palace
Today El Badi Palace is in ruins but the visit is still very pleasant with a very nice view of the storks. Every year, this is where the Marrakech of laughter created by Jamel Debouze happens.
The mosque of Koutoubia
In Marrakech, you have the main Koutoubia mosque. You can walk in its gardens and nothing will prevent you from taking some pictures. Also try to see it at dusk.
The Saadian tombs
The Saadian tombs are located next to the mosque of the Kasbah. The visit is quite fast and there are about sixty Saadians and three mausoleums. The most impressive mausoleum is the hall of twelve columns which houses the tomb of Sultan son Ahmed El Mansour.
Gardens of the Menara
The Menara Gardens is a very pleasant place in good weather to ride camel or take photographs with the Atlas Mountains in the background.
The museum of Marrakech
The Marrakech Museum occupies the walls of the magnificent Mnebhi Palace. You will be all about the history of Marrakech.

The exhibition changes regularly and it allows you to discover the history of Morocco. The collection has 4,500 photos, 2,000 negatives and 80 documents, all on 3 levels and classified by region.
